Angelica Taleff has a love for the Health & Wellness industry and has been working in the South Florida healthcare field since the early 2000’s! From hospitals to doctor’s offices, Angelica has always seen a need for non-traditional health care methods. This led her to opening the well-known, Senior Helpers of the Palm Beaches in 2009. Amongst many proud achievements with Senior Helpers, Angelica is most proud & humbled to say that for years, Senior Helpers has maintained a relationship with JFS to care for aging Holocaust Survivors in their homes. Her journey did not stop there however; Angelica is also the principle owner of Therahealth, a physical therapy clinic in Lake Worth.
Throughout her healthcare career, anti-aging and functional medicine have always been on her mind and heart and now Pure Wellness Therapy is the result of years of planning and hard work! It is her most sincere hope that the clients of Pure Wellness love the brand as much as she does.
Dr. Harold Bafitis, DO
Dr. Harold Bafitis is a double board certified surgeon with board certifications in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. Obtaining a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health the doctor then moved on to earn his medical degree Cum Laude from the University of North Texas, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Bafitis then went on to complete a full 5 year general surgery residency at Grandview Medical Center, in Dayton, Ohio and then furthered his expertise by completing a 2 year fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Plastic Surgery Institute and affiliated hospitals in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Bafitis has achieved the coveted title of FELLOW (FACOS) in the College of Osteopathic Surgeons and is the first Osteopathic plastic surgeon to earn the title of FACS and was greatly honored by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery with a seat on their Board of Plastic Surgery. Having a passion for philanthropic endeavors, Dr. Bafitis went on several missions to South America to provide free reconstructive services to those in need. He has also been featured on numerous national news segments, including ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX news. Dr. Bafitis presently sits on the Residency Evaluation and Standards Committee of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons in Washington, D.C. The doctor continues his medical journey by hosting numerous scientific programs in West Palm Beach, conducting live surgery at his state-of-the-art certified surgery center and is currently studying stem cells & growth factors to continue to give his patients the most efficient and up to date care!
Charity Lucas has a contagious love for life and wellness! That love is what drives her desire to help others regain their love for wellness and self. She believes the most rewarding part of her job is not just seeing youthful transformations in her client’s physical appearance, but seeing clients gain an understanding of their body’s overall wellness. Becoming a part of Pure Wellness Therapy, located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens was a natural transition from her many years of professional experience spent in both traditional medicine and behavior health. Charity has continued to further knowledge of this ever evolving industry by learning from the top Plastic Surgeons, practitioners and practice management specialist around the country. As the Practice Manager of Pure Wellness Therapy, Charity looks forward to giving back to her community a better quality of life for years to come!
Andrea DeGendice is a Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy Nurse Credentialing Center & currently holds a certification by The Anti-Aging Medical Management Group. With over 20 years of experience in her field, her scope of practice encompasses numerous areas, including health promotion, weight management, Hormone replacement therapy, disease prevention, peptide therapy, IV vitamin therapy, customized skin care and aesthetics procedures. Andrea performs & develops treatment plans to help decelerate the natural aging process from one’s outside appearance down to the cellular level. Having a passion for helping others live happier, healthier, and longer lives, Andrea has been able to build lasting relationships with her patients. Andrea believes in the importance of patient education and working as a team to develop an individualized comprehensive plan to achieve and maintain long term health and wellness for all of her clients for years to come!
Lead Medical Assistant
Kimberly Ruck is a licensed Medical Assistant, and is dedicated to help people gain confidence along with living a healthier life! She joins the Pure Wellness Therapy team with over 9 years experience in the medical field. Kimberly has worked underneath one of the most prestige neuro-otolaryngologists and has obtained significant knowledge through supporting the work. This knowledge includes assisting in surgical procedures, patient examinations, surgical coordinating, patient education, and scribing for the physician. Kimberly is enthused to be part of the Pure Wellness to not only help patients with their healthy youthful transformations, but most importantly to help assist in educating patients on the importance of their body’s wellness while supporting them as achieve their own personal goals!

John Perrotto, D.O. was the chief resident of both the Dermatology & Family Practice programs at Wellington Regional Medical Center. Prior to that, Dr. Perrotto completed his education at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. Being certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Perrotto specializes in Mohs surgery and currently practices at Skye Center for Dermatology serving the Palm Beaches. Having been an active member of the medical community, Dr. Perrotto is excited to continue his journey as one of the founders of Pure Wellness Therapy.
Amy Patel is a well-known certified compounding pharmacist and health coach! Although, Amy was originally trained as a pharmacist in traditional medicine, she quickly realized that her patients were not always getting healthier. Traditional medicine wasn’t always a fix for the underlying chronic issue. Amy then decided to further her education by training in patient specific compounding as well as nutritional health coaching in order to help her patients heal at their core. Since then, she has followed the integrative & functional medicine approach with her patients. As an integrative pharmacist Amy loves to help her patients in areas of health prevention, in particular nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle!
